Scope
A [Scope] extends the effective [Optimal Range] of a [Firearm] and helps you hit distant targets. A [Scope] can only be attached to a Heavy Pistol or Rifle. When you use a weapon with a [Scope] to make an [Attack], the weapon's [Optimal Range] extends to include the next farther [Range]. If the weapon's [Optimal Range] is already [Far], then a [Scope] extends its [Optimal Range] to include targets beyond [Far] range. This is the only way to make an [Attack] on a target at extreme distances beyond [Far] range.
For example, a Ranco .357 Equalizer has an [Optimal Range] of [Nearby]. Attaching a [Scope] to this weapon would mean [Nearby] and [Far] are both treated as being at [Optimal Range]. A Salvati Duro Carbine has an [Optimal Range] of [Far], so its [Scope] means a target at [Far] [Range] or beyond would be treated as being in [Optimal Range].
