Aug Increase

Some cybernetic augmentations permanently improve ability scores. This is known as an [Aug Increase]. Unlike bonuses, when you get an [Aug Increase] to the same ability score from two or more sources, you combine them, up to a maximum [Aug Increase] of +3. Write the [Aug Increase] on your character sheet and writ the adjusted ability score in parenthesis behind the natural ability score.

For example, a character with an Intelligence score of 3 gets a Neuromatrix (Level 2) installed. This grants the character an [Aug Increase] of 2 to their Intelligence score. The player notes the [Aug Increase] of 2 on their character sheet. For their Intelligence score, they write it like this: 3 (5). This indicates the character has a natural Intelligence score of 3 but it has been increased to 5 through cybernetic augmentation.
